It provides high-level mechanical filtration to remove very small suspended particles from water, helping improve water clarity and protect plumbing, taps, appliances, and downstream filtration equipment. Ideal for whole house filtration systems, rainwater applications, and as a polishing stage before carbon filtration.

    Best Used With

    • A 5 micron or coarser sediment pre-filter to reduce sediment loading and extend cartridge life.

    • A carbon filter cartridge after the sediment stage for chlorine, taste, and odour reduction.

    Not Suitable For

    • Chlorine, taste, or odour removal.

    • Chemical contaminant removal.

    • Bacteria or virus filtration.

    • Heavy sediment loads without a suitable coarse pre-filter.
