    • The outer layer can be lightly rinsed to remove surface sediment; however, the activated carbon media cannot be regenerated or restored by washing. Replace the cartridge once filtration performance declines.

    Best Used With

    • A 5 micron sediment pre-filter to remove heavier sediment and extend the life of the carbon media.

    • As part of a multi-stage filtration system for improved filtration performance and longer cartridge life.

    Not Suitable For

    • Very fine sediment filtration below 5 microns.

    • Heavy sediment loads without a suitable pre-filter.

    • Bacteria or virus removal.

    • Dissolved chemical contaminants beyond the reduction capabilities of activated carbon.
