Model: ATL-CBAFCTO10BIG10MCR
Micron Rating: 10 micron (nominal)
Size: 10" Big Blue (4.5" diameter)
Media: Coconut shell activated carbon block
Filter Type: Carbon block cartridge
Recommended Flow Rate: Up to 11.4 L/min (680 L/hr)
Chlorine Reduction Capacity: Approximately 75,700 litres (under recommended operating conditions)
Temperature Range: 4°C to 45°C
Construction: Polypropylene body with Texprene seals
-
Typical replacement interval: Every 3–6 months, depending on water quality, chlorine concentration, and water consumption.
Replace sooner if:
Chlorine taste or odour returns.
Water flow decreases noticeably.
The cartridge becomes heavily clogged with sediment.
Carbon block media cannot be washed or regenerated. Replace the cartridge once its filtration capacity is exhausted.
Best Used With
A 20 micron or 5 micron sediment pre-filter to remove suspended particles and maximise carbon filter life.
As part of a multi-stage filtration system for improved water quality and longer cartridge service life.
Not Suitable For
Bacteria or virus removal without additional treatment.
Water softening or hardness reduction.
Heavy sediment loads without a suitable sediment pre-filter.
Dissolved contaminants that are not effectively reduced by activated carbon.
