  • Replacement Information

    Typical replacement interval: Every 6–12 months, depending on water quality, chlorine levels, cyst loading, and water usage.

    Replace sooner if:

    • Chlorine taste or odour returns.

    • Water develops an unpleasant taste or smell.

    • Water flow decreases noticeably.

    • Pressure drop increases across the filter.

    • Filtration performance declines.

    Carbon block media cannot be washed or regenerated. Replace the cartridge once its adsorption capacity and filtration performance are exhausted.

    Best Used With

    • A 20 micron or 5 micron sediment pre-filter to remove larger particles and extend the life of the carbon block media.

    • As part of a multi-stage filtration system for improved water quality and longer cartridge service life.

    Not Suitable For

    • Complete sterilisation or removal of all bacteria and viruses.

    • Water softening or hardness reduction.

    • Total dissolved solids (TDS) reduction.

    • Heavy sediment loads without a suitable sediment pre-filter.

    • Dissolved contaminants that are not effectively reduced by activated carbon.
