Big F Pro SANIC UV System
The Big F Pro SANIC Series UV systems are Italian-made, fully assembled UV water treatment units designed for simple, reliable installation.
Each system combines three stages of pre-filtration with UV disinfection. The filters remove sediment and other contaminants before the water reaches the UV chamber, helping ensure the UV light can work effectively. The UV stage then uses ultraviolet light to inactivate microorganisms such as bacteria, protozoa and some viruses — without adding chemicals to the water.
The system comes pre-plumbed on a single mounting bracket, with one inlet and one outlet. A lockable, weather-resistant cover protects the components, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
Do I need UV?
UV is particularly useful for water supplies that aren't protected by a treated mains supply, such as rainwater tanks and bore water.
You can't see microorganisms such as bacteria, parasites or viruses in your water, and contamination isn't always obvious. UV provides an additional layer of protection by disinfecting the water as it passes through the system.
If your water has tested positive for harmful microorganisms, follow the advice provided with your water test and use an appropriate temporary treatment method until the contamination has been addressed. A UV system can then provide ongoing protection against microbial contamination.
