DP SANIC® Dual Stage 20" Big Blue Filter Housing
Short Description
The DP SANIC® Dual Stage Filter Housing features built-in silver-based antimicrobial protection that helps reduce bacterial growth on the housing surfaces. Designed to suit standard 20" Big Blue filter cartridges, this dual-stage housing allows you to customise your filtration system to suit your water quality and application.
Suitable for both whole-house (Point of Entry) and under-sink (Point of Use) installations.

Customise Your Filtration
The dual-stage design allows you to install two filter cartridges in sequence, giving you the flexibility to build a filtration system that suits your needs.
Stage 1
Typically used for pre-filtration to remove larger particles such as:
Dirt
Sand
Rust
Scale
Sediment
Many customers choose a higher micron sediment cartridge to protect the second-stage filter and extend its service life.
Stage 2
The second stage can then be customised for your application, including:
Finer sediment filtration
Chlorine reduction
Taste and odour improvement
Heavy metal reduction
Specialty filtration media where required
The cartridge combination you choose will depend on your incoming water quality and desired outcome.
SANIC® Antimicrobial Technology
DP SANIC® housings feature silver-based antimicrobial protection permanently integrated into the housing during manufacture. When paired with SANIC® filter cartridges, the technology also helps reduce bacterial growth on the cartridge surfaces, helping keep filter components cleaner between cartridge changes.
Please note: SANIC® technology helps inhibit bacterial growth on the filter components themselves. It does not sterilise or disinfect the water.
