Atlas Filtri Fluoride Reduction Cartridge 10" STD

The Atlas Filtri 10" Standard Fluoride Reduction Cartridge is designed to reduce fluoride levels in drinking water using specialised activated Alumina media. This cartridge helps improve water quality where fluoride reduction is required, can be an effective treatment solution for point-of-use and residential drinking water applications.

Recommended Flow Rate (LPM) 0.17 @50% reduction.

Mains water can flow anywhere between 20-60+ LPM - rendering the filter effectively useless. This is true for the majority of alumina based filters attached to mains supplies. For that reason if Fluoride removal is a concern we recommend Reverse osmosis OR a low LPM supply.

Often a simple gravity fed alumina based filter is better for this application as the low LPM gives the filter time to work (we do not sell these)

The fluoride reduction cartridge uses an Adsorption process: Water flows over the activated alumina media where fluoride ions bind tightly to the porous surface.

The 10" Standard (2.5") cartridge format can be suitable for use with standard 10" filter housings and multi-stage filtration systems requiring targeted fluoride reduction.

  • Typical Replacement Interval: Replace according to water quality, fluoride concentration, water usage, and manufacturer recommendations.

    Replace Sooner If:

    • Water flow decreases noticeably.

    • Pressure drop increases across the cartridge.

    • Cartridge reaches its rated treatment capacity.

    • Fluoride reduction performance declines.

    Maintenance: Replace the cartridge when its treatment capacity is exhausted. Regular water testing is recommended to confirm fluoride reduction performance.

    Best Used With

    • Sediment pre-filter to protect the fluoride cartridge.

    • Activated carbon filter for chlorine, taste, and odour reduction.

    • Multi-stage drinking water filtration systems.

    Not Suitable For

    • General sediment removal.

    • Water softening or hardness reduction.
