Hydra Big Trio Self-Cleaning Filter – 20” Big
The Hydra Big Trio is a high-flow, three-stage filtration system designed for applications where higher water flow and greater sediment capacity are required.
It combines a self-cleaning pre-filter with two empty 20” Big standard filter housings, giving you the flexibility to select cartridges that suit your water quality and treatment requirements.
The Hydra Big is particularly well suited to high-flow applications where maintaining good flow with minimal pressure drop is important, especially where higher levels of sediment are present.
The system uses materials selected for suitability with drinking water applications, including a reinforced polypropylene head and drain components, PET filter bowls and silicone seals.
Flow rates will depend on the cartridges selected and the operating conditions of the system.
Self-Cleaning Pre-Filter
The built-in Hydra self-cleaning filter removes larger sediment before the water reaches the cartridge filters. Its counter-current cleaning system uses reverse water flow to flush accumulated dirt from the mesh, reducing the need to remove and manually clean the filter.
Cleaning is quick and simple and can be carried out manually, with automatic cleaning also available for even lower maintenance.
The included pressure gauges provide an easy way to monitor pressure across the system and identify when cleaning or filter replacement may be required.
