How It Works (Simple Explanation)

This system uses three stages, and each one has a job.

Stage 1 – 25 Micron Sediment Filter

This is your first line of defence. It removes larger particles such as dirt, sand, and debris from your water. This helps protect the finer filter stages and maintain flow through the system.

Stage 2 – 1 Micron Sediment Filter

This stage removes much finer sediment. This is critical for UV systems, as particles in the water can shield microorganisms from the UV light. The cleaner the water, the more effective the disinfection.

Stage 3 – UV Disinfection Chamber

This is where the treatment happens. The UV light disinfects the water by neutralising harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, protozoa, and some viruses, without adding chemicals.

Why UV Treatment Matters
